2007 Byron & Harold Gravity Cabernet Sauvignon

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, this wine is a flagship release for Byron & Harold and is a unique opportunity to purchase a wine that has been cellared for a decade at the winery for $35

The wine is starting to show it’s age with a duller red hue to the rim of the glass, the nose shows a mature wine that is sitting pretty after 10 years in bottle; plum, leather, tobacco, cocoa and the remnants of new oak spice.

The palate has presence, texture and depth with the melange of grape varieties working together to provide a sultry, leathery expression of dark berry fruits that carries through to the long finish.
