2012 Yalumba The Scribbler Cabernet Shiraz

2012 continues to show its class across Australia with the always consistent Scribbler looking great after a couple of years in the bottle. The wine is a deep red with more youthful purple hues towards the rim.

The nose takes a little bit of time to show itself with brambly blackcurrant and blackberry on entry the tannins are firm yet fine and steeped in black fruits, attractive wood spice plays its part leading to a finish that is tightly bound at the moment but will become expansive over time.
