The nose is true to region and variety with a combination of blackberry, redcurrant and blackcurrant that’s set amongst milk chocolate and cedar. The palate shows a medium bodied wine that enjoys a baseline of cassis with subtle support from oak spice and gentle earthen notes. Tannins are fine but give structure and length to finish with some herbaceous flare a nice touch.
