A nose of violets, plum and baked cherries with oak giving a suggestion of spice. The palate is medium to full bodied with a suppleness of blackberry and blackcurrant fruit that enjoys some christmas cake like spice. Tannins are fine but present and give a graphite and milk chocolate aspect to the wine. The finish has drying dark fruits, a lick of earth and lifted oak spice.
