2013 Allegiance Wines The Artisan Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon

A dark red that is bricking towards the rim. The nose enjoys mulberry and dusty blackberry fruit in the varietal mound. The palate is soft with tannins resolved and a mocha like aspect to dark berry fruits and christmas cake like spice. There is a broadness to the finish that shows up the wines 15% alcohol that suggests this wine will be best over the shorter term.
