2009 Willow Creek Vineyard Chardonnay

Light yellow in colour, the nose has intriguing complexity with citrus, musk, toasted almond and savoury oak.

The palate has balance between lean citrus notes and richer stone fruit characters. There is a backdrop of mineral acidity that frames the wine and allows a pleasing contrast between the vibrant acidity and spicy almond meal notes due to the influences of malolactic fermentation.

The finish shows excellent length and structure, this wine is delicious now and will continue to be so over the medium term.
