A medium red in the glass with a toffee apple and red cherry nose that opens up to brown spices with time.
The palate has generosity of fruit, but not at the expense of balance with racy acidity and finely integrated oak giving layers to the red berry fruits. A textural, drying grip of black cherry pip gives a savoury thread to finish and quell the primary fruits. A well made wine that will keep evolving in the bottle over the medium term.
