2022 Huntington Estate Special Reserve Grenache

A pretty vibrant but light red in the glass. The nose has a floral spice to red cherry and plum and is almost Pinot Noir like in its stylings given the faint earthen influence.

There is crunch and drive to red cherry that works within fine but impactful tannins and lines of acidity that are supportive but brisk. There is a spice and earth nuance to the mid palate that also gives a textural pull and tempers the wines primary fruit. The length is very good, with baking herbs, spice and glossy black cherry lingering.

The Grenache releases from Huntington Estate continue to impress.
