A medium red in terms of colour, the nose is ripe with plum and black cherry that has some raisin and spice notes. The palate has contrast between ripe plum fruit and tart, textural cranberry and spice; tannins are fine but impactful and acidity flows. The finish has lingering cranberry fruit with significant length. Will be interesting to see where the wine goes given the full bodied fruit.
