A medium red in terms of colour, the nose has a significant amount of cedar oak and plush plum and black cherry. Oak continues to show the way on the palate, but does have a nice chocolate richness to it, that also adds softness to tannins; fruit is big, plush and certainly focuses on plum before the finish is kept in line by nicely balanced acidity and the lingering vanillin influence of oak.
