A medium red in colour, with a nose that opens up a touch reductive before clove, cured meat and pepper sit atop of black cherry and plum fruit. The palate shows the impact of oak with a veneer of richness. The wine is tightly coiled at this point in its development, drying black fruits have some olive tones and bitter dark chocolate. The finish is long, with a touch of leather and earth to the drying black fruits. Needs time to show its best.
