There is ample fruit on the nose with bright cherry, cinnamon and a touch of raisin.
The wine is very much medium bodied with fruit rather than oak the star. Cherry and spice combines with a touch of blackberry on the mid palate , after which you are hit with wonderful dark chocolate characters.
This finish shows pristine fruit, with the wine an unadulterated and delicious example of S.C Pannell's work.
