A dull red in colour, the nose has earthy cherry and plum fruit.
The palate is still very much showing primary fruit characters of stewed cherry and dark berries. The most impressive part of the wine is it's structure in terms of the tannin and acid balance. The wine has subtle spice on the finish and all the elements to age and flourish.
