A dull red in the glass, the nose has a bit of funk and earth to go along with meaty plum fruit. The palate follows a similar vein to the nose with a leathery and earthy expression of plum, the tannins are integrated and soft with oak inputs evident. The finish lacks some focus, with the wine best consumed in the next 2 - 4 years.
