This wine is pretty hard going, the colour is a light, bright red in the glass but that’s about where the plaudits finish. The nose is nondescript with some brambly red fruits and notes of cedar, the palate is thin, drying and has a distracting metallic character to finish that strips back what dark cherry and blackberry fruit there is.
This is one to drink over the shorter term.
