2005 Willow Creek Benedictus Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
91
This is in great shape given it’s ticked over it’s 10th birthday, a light red in the glass with that is browning to the rim which is to be expected. There is sappy cherry and rhubarb on the nose with cinnamon and sage spice.
A touch of pomegranate astringency works well alongside rich oak and broad brush cherry that's contrasted by subtle undergrowth to finish. The wine will hold up for a few years yet.
