A light red in colour that is true to the variety, the nose is youthful and gives briar characters with some savoury cherry and sweeter stem and vanillin oak that evolve with time in the glass.
The wine is medium bodied with a core of cherry and savoury raspberry that has fine textural tannins and a good measure of spice and roundness from integrated oak, the finish has good acid and precise red fruits. Will reward short term cellaring.
