This Pinot is produced from Orange, in terms of colour it is a light red with a subtle rusty hue, the nose is youthful with wild strawberry and stemmy red cherry.
The palate is light to medium bodied with similar bright red berry fruits to the nose, on entry there is attractive strawberry and cherry with some savoury grainy tannins on the mid palate, the finish is a little short but has impressive varietal expression from a region that is not yet widely regarded for Pinot Noir.
As with all the wines in the Weemala range it is great value for money.
