2016 Ten Minutes by Tractor 10x Pinot Noir

The 10X range continues to offer excellent value from what is one of Victoria’s premier producers.

A bright, light and reflective red in the glass, the nose has generous primary fruit of red cherry with bramble and spice very much in the background at this point in it’s development. The palate is characteristically Ten Minutes with layers of tannin, a touch of sappy spice but more than anything the varietal brilliance of Pinot Noir taking centre stage. As the nose suggests the fruit is very much in an opulent and primary stage but there is more than enough subtle winemaker induced characters that will come into their own in the next 6 -12 months.

The finish has some nice savoury flare and plenty oak, undergrowth and spice.
