Wines by Geoff Hardy continually produce very good examples of Sauvignon Blanc across a number of ranges. This release of Hand Crafted has plenty of structure and is more than a straight up and down Sauvignon Blanc. There is a slight mealy richness to the nose that works amongst sweeter tropical fruits and subtle herbaceous notes. The palate has ample upfront fruit with baked passionfruit and Meyer lemon, there is a contrasting grapefruit texture that does well alongside zippy acidity to finish.
