2010 Yering Station Reserve Shiraz Viognier

A youthful red in colour, deep spicy plum characters, quality oak and an ever so slight aromatic viognier lift combine to provide a wonderfully complex nose on what is arguably Yering Station's flagship wine.

The palate doesn't disappoint, the weight of the fruit is superb, without being cloying or overripe. Rolling spices and dark fruit are wrapped in a delicate sheath of oak that leads to a long balanced finish.

This wine is excellent now, and will continue to evolve with time in the cellar.
