2013 See Saw Shiraz Mourvedre

Produced from grapes sourced from both Orange and the Central Ranges the wine is a medium red hue with purple notes towards the rim of the glass.

The nose gives a savoury and dusty streak to plum and violets with the palate pitting sweeter plum and blueberry fruits against mouth puckering, drying tannin. There is a touch of sweetness to the fruit that still hasn’t quite fallen into line behind the graphite like structure of the tannins that frame the mid to back palate.

Time should help soften further.
