A premium price for a premium wine.
This is the quintessential Australian wine blend and represents the best Shiraz and Cabernet produced from Huntington Estate chief winemaker Tim Stevens. An Estate which produced some of the best Cabernet and Shiraz in NSW outside of the Hunter.
An inky dark red in the glass, there are layers of interest on the nose with blackberry and plum to milk chocolate, bramble and some cedar spice from American oak.
The wine is built for the cellar there is a vibrancy of acidity and impact of tight grained tannins that soak up dark berry fruits. The wine is coursing with chocolate and earth with a sappy charred note. There is concentration and length to finish that both coats the mouth but keeps you coming back for more.
