A Fruit driven nose with dark plums, mulberry and attractive cedar notes. The wine is medium bodied with spicy dark fruits on entry. There is a firm backbone of drying tannin that drives focus and gives plenty of dark chocolate and texture against blackberry fruit. Mouthfeel, tannin and structure win the show with fruit a secondary characteristic, the wine is still quite tightly bound and will reward further cellaring.
