2014 S.C. Pannell Field Street Shiraz

Field Street Shiraz is produced from vines that surround the S.C. Pannell cellar door in McLaren Vale, the wine is a great addition to the lineup with a focus on representing a strong varietal expression of Shiraz from the region.

The nose is dark fruit dominant with plum given depth by vanillin spice and licorice. The palate has layers of texture with a supple and full mouthfeel that mixes blackberry and plum with fine tannins. The subtle thread of licorice from the nose works it’s way into the long dark fruited finish. Delicious now and will age well.
