This is a nose to get excited about, it’s restrained and elegant with quality fruit rather than decadent oak leading the way, plum and blackberry fruit have a distinct meaty nuance and suggestions of spice.
The medium to full bodied palate has tightly bound black fruits, texturally it is mouth filling but maintains good line, the finish is immense with peppery inputs to blackberry and just ripe plum.
Drinking well now, this is a wine that under screw cap could live indefinitely.
