2013 Rowanston on the Track Blanc de Noir

Rowanston on the Track is a small winery in Glenhope, Macedon Ranges that produce Pinot noir, Riesling, Shiraz and Merlot. The 2013 Blanc de Blanc is a delicious drink and represents great value at $25.

The wine is a light salmon hue in the glass and has a fine, persistent bead, the nose gives plenty of bright red berry fruit with a touch of oyster shell. The palate is fruit forward with wild cherry, strawberry and a touch of stone fruit. There is nice acidity to finish giving texture and length.

Will drink well now and over the next few years.
