A medium red to purple in colour, the nose has a great mix of olive, blackberry and plum that move seamlessly between each other.
The palate is initially soft and full with plum and currant characters, the initial 'soft' impression is almost instantly replaced by a wall of dark berry fruits on the mid to back palate; a great contrast.
The long finish has savoury oak integration that complements the excellent fruit.
