A very interesting nose with rosemary , game , dark fruits and olive.
The palate has blackberry that is interjected by mint and menthol characters. The tannins are fine, with the length slightly disappointing after the wine delivered so much on the front to mid palate.
The 2010 Cabernet Merlot shows real interest for the price point, with the multi regional blend giving an indication of the quality of the 2010 vintage across South Australia.
