At a RRP of $13 there will be a lot of fans here, the wine itself is not going to win any awards but it’s an honest representation of entry level Australian wine. The nose melds ripe fruits with some earthen and leathery notes with the wines 14.9% alcohol also on show. The palate has some ripe plum and blackberry fruit that is kept in line by drying but not overbearing tannins and a lick of oak that gives sweetness and another layer to the tannin profile.
