The nose is a deeply concentrated and savoury expression of Cabernet Sauvignon that is almost reminiscent of Cabernet Franc with the smokey, meaty and herbaceous notes to blackberry and blackcurrant fruit. The palate is constructed around a fine lattice of drying, gently spiced tannin with expressive blackcurrant given a lift by cedar oak and touches of dark chocolate like richness. The finish combines tomato leaf with an array of dark fruits with a peppery, drying finish.

A bargain at $25.
