The wine is a blend of Cabernet (80%) and Merlot (20%) and was produced from the Williams vineyard in Kyneton that was originally planted by Laurie William, the founding father of viticulture in the Macedon Ranges.

The wine gives a glossy red hue in the glass with a heady mix of blackberry and plum that’s overlaid by mint chocolate and beautifully aromatic french oak spice.

An iron fist in a velvet glove; there is an elegance of structure, yet concentration of fruit and integration of oak that comes from a Cabernet of the highest order. Attractive French oak with vanilla richness and baking spice defines the wine at this point with precise blackberry and plum that will evolve over time. The tannins are fine yet supportive and build subtly over time, milk chocolate and understated mint doninate the finish.

This is just a baby and will reward decades
