2017 Levantine Hill Samantha’s Paddock Melange Traditionnel

A wine that is styled on Left Bank Bordeaux and stops at no expense whether it be uncompromising viticulture, the finest French oak, or packaging that you would also expect to see in the top end of Bordeaux and Napa. Most importantly the wine in the bottle is exceptional.

A medium red in terms of colour with a nose that shows blackberry and black plum fruit that is lifted by graphite and a thread of brown spice and old leather.

The palate is medium to full bodied with textured and polished dark berry fruits that have near perfectly proportioned tannins and acidity that take on a cigar box influence before glossy black cherry and blackberry are joined with dark chocolate and background spice.

Excellent length and has the potential to live a very long time.
