The nose shows blackcurrant and bitter dark cocoa, the palate is varietal and lean with a savoury edge to dark berry fruits. Tannins are fine, but do leave there mark in terms of earthen impact. The wine lacks fruit to finish and shows some alcohol warmth and a touch bitter.
