This is a wine that is not giving away much in its youth and will be sure to relax with some time in the bottle. The nose is defined by tightly bound dark fruits of blackberry and plum with grainy earthen tones. The palate is built upon a graphite laden backdrop of savoury tannin from which dark fruits have subtle input at this point in its development. The length is good but not overly complex.
