2020 Inreverie Margaret River Cabernet Merlot

A punchy and spicy number that enjoys its youthful disposition but still flies the varietal Cabernet Merlot flag; the colour is a vibrant deep red with a nose of blackberry, herbs and dusty spice.

The palate is juicy, with acid and tannin as you would expect as a young wine, but working well with concentrated and pure dark berry fruits. A touch of cigar box like complexity is there when you look on the finish, which at this point in its development is all about drying blackberry with a touch of graphite.

Excellent value,  give it some time.
