A blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon and 19% Shiraz, the wine was aged in tank for malolactic fermentation, followed by 12 months of ageing in old oak.
A medium red in terms of colour with blackberry, violets and a touch of earth on the nose. The palate has a medium bodied frame, with a plushness of black fruits that are supported by grainy tannins that take on a malty milk chocolate note. There is good acidity and flow to the wine, with the finish seeing blackberry and black cherry etched with graphite and fresh earth.
