A Cabernet and Shiraz blend that is more reminiscent of Pinot Noir in colour. The nose starts a touch reductive but shows crunchy red cherry and raspberry fruit with some undergrowth like spice. Pure and pristine fruit that is all red berried, it is glossy and mouth filling. There is a cherry liqueur like aspect to the mid palate with a touch of green herbs for good measure. The finish is drying and has good length.
