Review Detail
2008 Moss Wood Amy's Cabernet Blend
Wine Rating
94
Deep red with a slight youthful purple towards the rim. The nose has juicy ripe blackberry and blackcurrant that have swallowed up generous new oak inputs.
The palate has well handled oak with dark fruits and a touch of aniseed, towards the finish there are elegant spices and a touch of dark chocolate.
The Amy's blend now in it's fourth vintage under the label consistently produces a fruit driven medium term cellaring wines.
