Review Detail
2003 Majella Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Rating
95
Medium red in colour, starting to move to brick red around the rim. The nose has a lovely mix of plum, dusty olive and blackberry fruit.
The palate is close to reaching full maturity with dark fruits giving way to more dominant olive characters. In doing so it highlights the commanding tannin structure and textured mouth feel that you get in very good, aged Coonawarra Cabernet.
