The 2006 Bin 389 was somewhat of a disappointment given the quality of the vintage and the pedigree of the wine.
The nose has a slight menthol character with drying fruit and prominent oak.
The palate is ok enough with sappy black fruits, olive characters and grainy oak, but I can't help but think its a little one dimensional.
The wine suffers on the finish with unfocused and flat fruit.
