Review Detail
2012 Warramate Black Label Cabernets
Wine Rating
93
This is a well made and proportioned victorian Cabernet blend with dusty blackberry, licorice and attractive floral characters from the Cab Franc on the nose.
The palate is full and balances ripe dark fruits with rich oak and fine tannins. The wine is very much in the dark fruit spectrum with blackberry and plum given contrast by cigar box and baking spices. The finish is steeped in blackcurrant with top notes of wood spice.
Great value at $25.
