Review Detail
2014 Willow Bridge Estate Dragonfly Cabernet Merlot
Wine Rating
91
It seems like it's a yearly rant around the quality of the Willow Bridge Dragonfly wines, the 2014's are no different.
A youthful dark red to purple hue in the glass, a nose inspired by graphite and jubey black currant with subtle backing by black olive.
Expansive palate with juicy black fruits, tannins are drying and laden with pencil shavings that set the wine up for the future whilst at the same time coating the mouth and sending you back for another sip.
This wine has a strong' dark fruited core that will evolve well over time.
