The Margaret is a blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot and 12% Malbec and at a tick over $40 represents exceptional value.
A compelling nose of mulberry, blackberry and black currant that is seamlessly integrated with glossy cedar oak and background cigar box notes that are starting to make themselves known.
The palate gives great structure and balance with tightly bound tannin and oak in a sea of dark fruits with touches of dark chocolate and gentle earthen notes.
An exceptional wine that will still be positively singing two decades from release.
