A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (66%), Petit Verdot (19%) and Merlot (15%).
The wine gives an edgy contrast between generous, almost rich dark fruits on the nose that benefit from top notes of olive and liquorice and a palate that is steeped in briar dark fruits and delicious, chalky tannins.
The palate has up front blackberry and violets with taut cherry and graphite that flows into chalky tannins and earth. The finish sees a return of blackcurrant and olive with a sheath of oak and fruit richness. The length is very good.
