Review Detail
2018 Byron & Harold Gravity Cabernet Merlot
Wine Rating
90
The nose is defined by brooding black fruits with earth, leather and graphite all in the mix. You get the sense that some time in bottle will really help soften and bring all the constituent parts together.
The palate has breadth of blackberry fruit with grainy tannin that has cedar and cocoa; there is an enjoyable tannin profile to finish with good length lingering lift from tobacco to dark berry fruits.
