2017 Chain of Ponds Novello Cabernet Merlot

A blend of Cabernet and Merlot; a nose of plum blackberry, cedar and some faint mint notes. The wine has sage and earth at its core that when combined with drying tannins and acidity is the most dominant feature. Oak gives lifted spice and roundness to finish with some sweetness of blackberry fruit.
