A classical nose of blackberry, violets and cigar box like spice. The palate is medium to full bodied with a youthful core of drying, graphite edged tannin that has a tartness of blackberry fruit. The mid palate adds dark chocolate and a more generous sheath of spice before the long finish of blackberry and bramble.
