2007 Petaluma 'Coonawarra' Cabernet Merlot

Plum and blackberry fruit jump out of the glass, the palate has well defined plum, cedary oak, and cinnamon. The palate itself is complex and already showing some development from time in the bottle. The oak is well integrated and provides a little spice. The finish has wonderful length, with the acid and tannin structure indicating long term cellaring potential.

I bought a half case of this last year but buried it somewhere before I tasted it so your comments are welcome.I was thinking of buying the 2008 (when it's finally released)because 2008 was a belter vintage for Coonawarra.
