A deep, dark red in the glass with ripe yet savoury edged plum and blackberry fruit that is lifted by brown spice. The palate sees plenty of generous oak which wraps itself around the more medium bodied dark berry fruits. Tannins take on a faint bitterness that works well with the fruit. Drying earth and leather to finish alongside the fruit.
